Welcome to the Auchengillan Summer Adventure Club!
Weekly Bookings: Select the Monday for the week, and the option with the week date range.
Daily Bookings: Select the particular day you wish to book.

Our Summer Adventure Club is a fun, exciting and challenging outdoor adventure programme for young people aged 8-15 years. Each day participants will take part in a variety of instructor-led activities designed to build confidence, develop new skills, make friends and create unforgettable memories.
Participants are split into two age groups:
- Pioneers (8-11 years)
- Adventurers (12-15 years)
Activities vary daily and may include high ropes, climbing, target sports, bushcraft, team challenges, water activities, swimming, mountain biking and much more.
Dates & Times
The Summer Adventure Club operates Monday to Friday during school holidays.
- Arrival: 08:30 - 09:00
- Activities Begin: 09:15
- Collection: 16:30 - 17:30
Parents and guardians must sign participants in and out each day.
About Our Team
At Auchengillan, the safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of every participant is our highest priority.
Our Summer Adventure Club is delivered by a dedicated team of experienced outdoor instructors, centre staff and volunteers who are passionate about helping young people develop confidence, independence and a love of the outdoors.
Safeguarding
All staff working directly with young people:
✓ Hold a current PVG Scheme Membership (Protecting Vulnerable Groups)
✓ Receive safeguarding training in line with Scouts and Clyde Scouts policies
✓ Follow our Safeguarding, Child Protection and Code of Conduct procedures
✓ Are trained in the appropriate reporting and management of safeguarding concerns
Qualifications & Experience
Our instructional team hold a range of nationally recognised outdoor qualifications, which may include:
✓ Climbing Wall Instructor (CWI)
✓ Paddlesport Instructor
✓ Mountain Bike Leadership Awards
✓ Archery Instructor
✓ NSRA Air Rifle Qualifications
✓ First Aid Qualifications
✓ Pool Lifeguard Qualifications
✓ ERCA High Ropes Instructor
Many of our instructors have extensive experience delivering adventurous activities to schools, Scout Groups, youth organisations and community group.
Safety Standards
Activities are delivered in accordance with national governing body guidance, Scouts Activity Rules and industry good practice.
All activity equipment is regularly inspected and maintained, and activities are subject to detailed risk assessments and operating procedures.

Our team is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment where all young people can participate, make friends and challenge themselves.
We encourage parents and guardians to discuss any additional support needs, medical conditions, disabilities, allergies or concerns with us before attendance so that we can make reasonable adjustments wherever possible.
Supporting Young People
We recognise that some participants may be attending an activity programme independently for the first time.
Our staff are experienced in helping young people settle in, make new friends and build confidence throughout the week. We aim to create an environment that is fun, encouraging and supportive whilst helping participants develop resilience, teamwork and independence.
